Sovereign Ipsissimus Dave Lanyon has been the driving force behind the explosive growth of The Mystery School since he joined the Lineage in 2004 and we have seen the school expand from 12 countries to 55 with his efforts. 

As a lineage holder for the Modern Mystery School in the tradition of King Salomon, he specializes in presenting Hermetic and Esoteric wisdom in practical and actionable ways. Over his decades-long journey on the path of initiation, he has applied his experience in corporate business to the organization to exponentially expand it into over 50 countries in just a few years at the helm. He has also received the highest initiation in this tradition, that of Sovereign Ipsissimus, granting him the keys to the lineage and anchoring the vision and mission of the Mystery School for its tens of thousands of members worldwide.


Having been activated in the Great Pyramid of Giza, he is initiated a Knight Templar and leads the worldwide Order of the Warriors of Light. He is a High Priest of Egyptian Magick, a Master of Enochian Magick and specialist of Viking, Celtic, and Egyptian Shamanism and much more.

Sovereign Ipsissimus Dave is a world class accomplished Martial Art Instructor of many styles and has been helping to teach, coach and motivate people for many decades. Harnessing the mental and physical strength that comes from working within the various martial art disciplines, along with his years of business, economic and marketing specialization, Ipsissimus Dave brings to the table a wealth of experience to enhance the spiritual work of the Modern Mystery School and mission of creating World Peace.

As a champion of the warrior mindset and a master in the realm in the Hermetic wisdom, he shares universal keys of knowledge in his two books, Essential Principles for the Warrior of Light (released in summer 2023), which follows his celebrated first book, You Are Not Perfect The Way You Are (released in the fall of 2022).

 

As a Ritual Master Teacher in the lineage of King Salomon and teaching an advanced series of Hermetic classes all around the world, his ability to hone in on the formula to create a foundation of wisdom is unparalleled. What began as a support mechanism for his students, he developed the set of Hermetic Wisdom Contemplation Cards so that everyone can tap in to the higher perspective of the universal principles of Hermeticism.
